Helping Hands Across America is on Facebook! And we need your support. Log on to Facebook and become a fan of this important food drive taking place NOVEMBER 12.

On the Facebook fan page there is information about the food drive, pictures of past events, tools and signage to utilize if helping spread the word, and a feed of the latest information on the attempts to break the Guinness world record!

To become a fan, log on to your personal Facebook account, in the search box type “Helping Hands Across America.” Click on the first entry that comes up, and then in the upper right click on “become a fan.”

By supporting and taking part in Helping Hands Across America on November 12th, you are supporting local charities in desperate need of food.

Holidates - Holidays
The excitement of the arrival of this holiday-packed season, combined with time off from class, makes December a favorite month for many. Each holiday brings its own special rewards, and students love them all. Although the gift-giving and religious holidays often cause New Year’s Eve to be forgotten, it is also a very important and fun holiday. It’s a time to celebrate the year passed and the new beginnings that come with the upcoming year. The activities and ideas here are great way to to encourage the excitement and get you all ready for the upcoming holidays.

Native American Heritage Month
Native America is a time to celebrate the Native American history and culture in the United States. The celebration originally began in New York State in 1916 it declared the first “American Indian Day. On August 3, 1990 President George Bush declared the first National American Indian Heritage Month.

There are many things that we can do to celebrate American Indian Heritage month at Sodexo. Find out more about it and how to celebrate it at your Resident Dining Center.
